A Busy Time for CBA | 14.9.06

The team at CBA have had a bit of a full-on month. Not only have they coordinated with Husk to produce the latest editions of their quarterly newsletters the CBA News and the Talent, we have also produced collateral for campaigns promoting Yulia's latest album and promoting their no.1 rating radio show Real Life with John Cowan. Chuck in some stationery reworking, and the birth of Phil's second son Micah Joel Guyan, and flip - we all just need a good sit down! Congrats Phil, Annelies and Levi on the gorgeous lil addition to the CBA team. more >>

Parachute 07 Website Launched | 14.9.06

The website for the renowned Parachute music festival (held annually in Mystery Creek, Hamilton) has just gone live after several weeks of coding, animating and building all the bits required. With the concept/art designed by the crazy cats inhouse at 'the pash' (Danny, Luke + team), we had fun getting it web-ready and tested. The jukebox, designed to rotate the Parachute 07 Compilation CD (when it gets manufactured that is), was a particularly fun challenge. more >>

And The Nominees Are... | 14.9.06

Congratulations to Mahara Tocker for becoming a finalist in the NZ Music Awards with her debut album 'Hurricane's Eye', nominated for Best Maori Album (up against Rodger Cunningham and Te Reotakiwa Dunn). We are very proud to have produced the sleeve artwork for Mahara and organised the launch of her fab album in 2005. Congratulations also to another one of our cool clients - juliagrace - a finalist in the Best Gospel/Christian album category, alongside Mumsdollar and Shooting Stars (we are most proud to have built julia's website). We are cheering for you girls and hope you both win! more >>

Soul Purpose Issue 25 Launched | 14.9.06

The new SP magazine is out and about - it's the MONEY issue and so we (with the help of our very lovely design intern Jimmy McCoskrie), loaded up the leaves with all the cash, bling, grills and material styles we could dream up. And it's a cool issue even if we do say so. You can also check it out soon online here >>

Netball Champs at the bit... | 14.9.06

Netball NZ have been keeping us on our painted toes over the last little while, putting together programmes and media guides for the concurrent netball events they have running around NZ. These include the Fisher and Paykel International Test Series (featuring the Silver Ferns v Australia; NZU21 V AusU21 and the Silver Ferns v South Africa); the Scottwood Trust Netball Champs (12 regions, 78 games, one goal!) and the NZ Secondary Schools Champs. Phew. We're talking, doodling and dreaming netball courts at the moment...and LOVING it.

There's Nothing Natural About Factory Farming | 13.9.06

"Like your domestic dog, the pig is a highly intelligent, sensitive, playful, responsive animal. It is appalling that any animal is forced to live in an environment with no daylight, no fresh air, no room to even move, lying in their own filth for their entire lives." We have just produced the collateral for the latest WSPA Farmwatch appeal in association with Black advertising, and wholeheartedly support the mission of WSPA Australasia. more >>
