There have been many amusing 'things' auctioned on TradeMe, NZ's favourite online auction website, but the one we saw this morning takes the cake. Sez67 of Thames is auctioning off an argument (!) as follows >> "You are bidding for a telephone argument. The winner of this auction will be phoned and a full 2 minute argument will begin with optional expletives. Upon winning this auction, you must supply your phone number and the subject on which you would like to argue. Thankyou for your time." At last look, the auction had 17 hours to go and someone was willing to pay $26NZD for the privilege. We need more creative people like this in the world! more >>

Antihero - Into the Glasshouse | 18.8.06

antihero was formed in September 2004 by Craig Klopper and Lee Schoevers. Drawing inspiration from alternative/progressive rock and grunge, classic rock and guitar virtuoso music, the band is best described as alt-rock. antihero are based in Auckland and have just released their first self-funded EP called Into the Glasshouse.
