Christmas Close-Down Period

Just a quick note to let you know when our studio will be closed over the coming Summer break - we will be reasonably uncontactable over this time.
Our last day is Friday 23 December.
We are back at work on Monday 9 January.

Good Grammar Costs Nothing

I had to chuckle when I saw this tshirt online today (and being a self-confessed spelling and grammar nazi, I think I will probably have to fork out the dosh for my own).
Quoting from Glarkware:"...one thing is dishearteningly clear: the number of people in the world who can put together a coherent sentence is dropping by the day. Fortunately, we do have some recourse against grammatical offenses, short of justifiable homicide. Wear this shirt!"

Webstock Baby Yeah

NZ's first ever webdesign and web standards Webstock conference is coming to Wellington in 2006 + I am quietly excited. There's an impressive speaker selection, a nice little website and from what i can tell, the 'hype' is building. I am particularly interested in finding out more about web standards, copywriting netiquette (the average jo is shocking at it), rss pull-marketing and optimisation. These all seem to constantly morph so it will be wicked to have all these pickable brains under one roof.

Lucky Number One

Woohoo - the brand new Husk site is finally up and running. It has been 18 months in the making (a builder's house is never built) and so it's just something shy of a miracle that we're even here at all. Phew.
