HPYD Conference 2006

Jointly hosted by Royal Institution of Naval Architects, the University of Auckland and Massey University, and timed to coincide with the arrival of the Volvo Ocean Race fleet in New Zealand, the second international conference on high performance yacht design will showcase the latest developments in yacht research from around the globe. Naval architects, engineers, designers and researchers present and hear papers on the current state of high performance yacht and power craft technology and Husk had the privilege of designing the conference collateral.

Tear Fund TearTALK Summer 06

Photoshoot for Edwin Derricutt

Revelling in the auspicious company of stylist Brendan Vucich (Raydar/Julia Grace), rock-star Edwin Derricutt and his lovely wife and makeup artist Deb, I recently shot some pics for Ed's new album project 'Symmetry'. Locations included the Rangipo desert, Putaruru back-streets, Raurimu, Kaiaua, Bombay hills. A very memorable trip away with some cool pics too (see sample above). Check edwinderricutt.com

Studio Space Filled

We are delighted to announce that, as of 7 February, we have another cool lil' graphic design company joining our community. Arna Martin from Coco Design is gonna shift her business into our offices and join in the design madness...we're looking forward to it!

Paul Sutherland Photography Website Launched

Just before Christmas we launched the new website of our good friend (and brilliant photographer) Paul Sutherland. It was a fun site to make, particularly because of it's unique layout and navigation. Paul and his wife Marnie specialise in a wide range of photographic services and are both creative and professional, with rave endorsement from their clients.

Bye Bye Bren

As of 9 January 2006, Brendon Kerry resigned his position as a Director of Husk Ltd and commenced a new role with Dave Clark. We thank him for the commitment, expertise and energy he's invested into Husk and wish him all the best for the future. We'll miss you!
